Sue Du, L.Ac., MS

Sue offers attentive, patient-centered care grounded in precise assessment and a whole-person view of health.

Sue Du is a New York and Pennsylvania licensed acupuncturist with a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Born in Shenyang, China, and raised in Merrick, Long Island, she has worked in the acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine field since 2016. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture through her clinical training at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Sue’s clinical focus includes pain management and sports injuries, migraines and headaches, sleep and stress-related concerns, digestive health, women’s health, and overall wellness. Her approach combines acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies such as cupping, Gua Sha, electro-acupuncture, manual therapy, and individualized Chinese herbal formulas.

Chinese Herbal Medicine is an important part of Sue’s whole-person approach. Rather than focusing on a symptom in isolation, she considers each patient’s symptoms, constitution, lifestyle, health history, and TCM pattern when developing individualized Chinese herbal formulas. Herbal medicine may be used independently or integrated with acupuncture when appropriate to support sleep, stress, digestion, women’s health, recovery, and overall balance.

Throughout her career, Sue has worked alongside medical doctors, neurologists, psychologists, dermatologists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists. She believes the best care begins with listening carefully, understanding the full picture, and creating a treatment plan that is both individualized and practical.
